How Long Does Your Forage Last For?

+

Our hay and haylage are well wrapped to keep them fresh for as long as possible. For hay, it can stay fresh for up to 18 months when stored correctly in a cool, dry space.

Haylage has a shorter shelf life due to its higher moisture content and needs to be used within 3-10 days of being opened. Typically, it will go off quicker in the warmer months, so it’s essential to look out for signs that indicate your haylage has gone off, including an unpleasant smell, discolouration or signs of mould.

Can Products Be Exported?

+

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping and currently supply international yards and competition horses with our high-quality forage products. Take a look at our international stockists page for more information, or get in touch with our export team.

How to Introduce New Haylage Into a Horse’s Diet?

+

If you want to try our hay or haylage for your horse or pony, we suggest slowly introducing this into your horse’s diet alongside what you usually feed. It’s recommended to gradually increase the quantity of the new product over 2-4 weeks to allow the horse’s digestive system to adapt and reduce health issues, such as colic.

Can You Advise Me on What Product May Be Best for My Horse?

+

Absolutely! If you’re not sure which of our products will best suit your horse or pony’s diet, please get in touch with our expert team. We work with an equine nutritionist who can provide you with tailored advice based on your horse’s diet and condition.
